Publication-to-proposal framing (updated October 2026)

This website version uses the corrected portrait with pixel sunglasses and a rainforest header, plus an explicitly proposal-connected research-methods section.

Verified published contributions and proposed transfers

  1. Asadi & Laksari, JMBBM 2025 (OED). Established information-aware choices of hyperelastic loading states in noise-contaminated synthetic tests. Proposed—not demonstrated—transfer: choose informative extant animal measurements for evaluating uncertainty in muscle paths and joint-mechanics inference.
  2. Asadi & Laksari, bioRxiv 2026 (compatibility atlas). Established a method of reporting multiple constitutive family matches to limited data and distinguishing them by additional deformation-mode evidence on a rubber benchmark. Proposed transfer: joint mobility predictions under full sets of plausible tissue-response laws rather than one arbitrary fossil law.
  3. Asadi & Laksari, Annals of Biomedical Engineering 2026 (PI-UNet). Demonstrated recovering heterogeneous nonlinear constitutive coefficients on controlled synthetic 3D finite-element datasets. Proposed transfer: estimate extant-species tissue properties when measured full-field deformation and relevant experimental constraints exist, then quantify uncertainty entering fossil functional comparisons. This is neither a direct muscle-reconstruction method nor a method validated on fossils.
